Short version: Use ChannelBackup to back up your own YouTube channel. Don't abuse it. It's free with no warranty.
Acceptance
By using ChannelBackup (the website at channelbackup.app or the desktop app), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.
Who Provides This
ChannelBackup is provided by VARØ Industries in partnership with The New Janky Workshop.
Permitted Use
- Backing up your own YouTube channel's data
- Using backup data for personal archival, analytics, or migration
- Downloading and using the free desktop app
Prohibited Use
- Backing up channels you don't own or have no permission to access
- Violating YouTube's Terms of Service or YouTube API Terms of Service
- Attempting to abuse, scrape, or overload our service or Google's API
- Using downloaded data for spam, harassment, or illegal purposes
YouTube API Services
ChannelBackup uses YouTube API Services. By using this service you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
No Warranty
ChannelBackup is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. YouTube's API, rate limits, and data formats are outside our control. We make no guarantee that backups will be complete or accurate.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VARØ Industries is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of ChannelBackup.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
